Dear Parents,

Thank you to all the parents, and parishioners that attended our Veteran’s Day Program last Friday!  It was a wonderful program honoring and thanking our Veteran’s!

The Halloween BLAST, held on October 31st raised $430 for our Orphan Train orphanage in Costa Rica.  We send the profits of our BLAST every two years to help the children living in the orphanage receive food, clothing, shoes, and school supplies.  Thank you for your donations, time, and letting your children attend the event to make this successful!

Congratulations to Chloe Borreson (1st place), Zoe Zittel (2nd place), and Emily Schroedl (3rd place) in the Lion’s sponsored Peace Poster contest.  The theme this year was ‘Peace for our Future’.  All participating posters are hung in businesses around Columbus.

During Advent we are partnering with our Religious Education Confirmation students in participating in Project Linus.  We will be collecting fleece or pre-made single-layer fleece blankets.  Fleece and blankets can be dropped off at the school or the parish, November 26-December 20.  Any fleece sent in, the students will be working on making them into blankets.  Directions and information went home in the Blue Envelope.
