St. Jerome School

The after school “Halloween Blast” is fast approaching. This is our primary fundraiser for the Orphan Train service project through the Rotary Club in which we help to provide materials for a school in Costa Rica. We will offer carnival type games, face painting, cake walk and crafts. This is a family event; younger siblings and parents are welcome. The cost is $5.00 a person to participate in all activities.

We need your help! The Blast will be from 3:15-4:30 on Thursday, October 27th. A volunteer sign-up sheet came home in the blue envelope, please complete and return it by Wednesday, Oct. 19th.

A permission slip will be sent home in the blue envelope on October 19th. This is always a very popular event for our school. Thank you in advance for your help!!

We are also looking for people that would donate items for the larger prizes at the Halloween Blast. These should be things that cost around $5-$10. Popular items are containers of cheese puff balls or animal crackers, movie theatre size candy or full size candy bars. If you would be willing to help us with this please let us know or drop the items off in the office.

Our most popular activity is the Cake Walk where the children can win creatively decorated cakes sent in by parents. If you need cake decorating ideas check out these websites:
